Cafe Franz Schubert in Potsdam

The Cafe Franz. Schubert is located on the avenue to Sanssouci 2, in 14471 Potsdam. In this respect, the aforementioned cafe is no ordinary cafe. Every guest can enjoy home-baked cakes and various types of coffee here. You can also buy high-quality souvenirs, oil paintings, etchings and copperplate engravings from Potsdam and its royal regents. The name Cafes does not come from the Austrian musician at the time, but rather from the owner. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very valuable. Highly recommended! On December 13, 2020, luck wanted it to be open. We wanted to see Sanssouci Park, air temperature around 4 degrees. We walked by and tasted mulled wine. The wine is delicious. Much better than the Dutch rose windmill on the other side of the park.

Highly recommended! Delicious homemade cake! Very cozy! The prices are fair !! The cappucino didn't taste good though. And unfortunately only cash payment! But very nice atmosphere! We'll be back!

Cozy, snacks, soups etc well cared for and tasty

Great, we are regulars. The only drawback - on the weekend the lady runs herself alone, two women would have enough and a lot to do. But otherwise - great.

Wonderful, very cozy cafe, which revives the old times. Snow White cake very tasty, coffee tasted too. Service attentive and friendly, we would love to come back here.

We happened to come to this pretty little café after a walk in the park for coffee and cake. Coffee and cake (quark blueberry) were very good, the service was not enthusiastic, but friendly. So we have only the greatest praise that you can get from a Berliner: You can't complain! ;)

The cake and the cocoa were delicious! The location right at the entrance to the park is great too! We could still sit outside and watch the bustle on the street! The service was not friendly, but not unfriendly!

Local cake is very good. Service staff is good. 50-50. I recommend Kalter Hund.

I love this Café! Right on the street that leads you to the main entrance of Park Sanssouci! Their coffee and cakes are delicious and the royal atmosphere, filled with musical pieces from the Rococo Era, leaves you feeling Kingly (Or Queenly). The workers are very friendly and extremely professional. They also offer their coffee in to-go cups, so you can take a nice stroll in the park with their delicious coffee! I highly recommend checking this place out!

The small glass of water for my coffee with cake, together 5,60, - €, I received only with the remark: "Normally we do not do that." I had asked for a big one, but the lady had probably not noticed. I always loved going there, now I would think twice. Actually, I'm quite normal ... And accordingly, I would ask again for a glass of water. I will not normally go back then.

Such a cozy cafe! Homemade cake and especially "cold dog"! Simply delicious! A visitor to Potsdam simply has to stop by on the way to or from Sanssouci! If it is something refreshing, I can also recommend the Potsdamer Stange!
